SLUDGE TREATMENT SYSTEMS

The sludge treatment systems involve mixing the sludge with lime or other hygenizing agents. Sludge liming allows the stabilization and treatment of the sludges. The dose of the hygienizing compound is selected depending on the sludge type and the hygienization degree required.

A typical sludge treatment system consists of the following devices:

• hygienizing compound container (silo),
• compound dispenser with a gear motor that allows selection of the optimal amount of lime delivered to the agitator,
• compound conveyor,
• agitator with the hygienizing compound,
• conveyor for the hygienized sludge that is delivered to a container or a storage place,
• control system for the installation (liming installation is controlled automatically with the possibility of manual control),

The sludge treatment installation has a simple construction and is easy to operate.
