WORM CONVEYORS

Worm (screw) conveyors are used mainly for transportation of loose materials – fine or medium-grained, dry or damp. The transported material enters through the charging hole of the conveyor, from where it enters the working space of the worm. The worm revolves inside a steel casing, carrying the material to the discharge hole. The conveyor can be operated manually or automatically, allowing it to be linked with other devices for the transport or reception of the material.
